EyeScope Remote CCTV Software for Mobile Phones

April 17 2009: BiKal have released EyeScope, a multi platform cctv surveillance software that is designed for use with mobile phones working with almost all mobile platforms such as Blackberry, iPhone, Windows, Symbian, Android and Palm operating systems including 3G & GPRS networks. EyeSoft v2.2.13c Released with Further Enhancements

March 30 2009: EyeSoft v2.2.13c upgrade features major performance enhancements as well as further support for H.264 codecs from 3rd party manufacturers such as Axis, Arecont and more. Also, support for Y-Cam and more models of Airlink and Vivotek ip cameras added. This version also sees the introduction of PTZ presets, Tours and auto tracking functions available with PTZ IP cameras supported by an easy drop down menu.

BiKal Contributes to Article for BAPCO Journal

March 25 2009: BiKal's CTO contributes towards article for the BAPCO Journal ( Setting High Standards ) discussing the use of IP CCTV within the emergency services such as police, fire and ambulance. IP CCTV has extended the use and functionality of CCTV surveillance opening new possibilities that reach beyond simple surveillance and enters an era of pro-active surveillance for the protection and management of public, environmental and private spaces. BiKal Presents Case Study at IIPSEC Exhibition

January 27 2009: BiKal's CTO presents case study on network surveillance solutions for the retail and transport industry. Standalone Video Player Released

January 04 2009: A new standalone video player called EyeSoft Video Player - EVP v1.0 has been released allowing the playback of video files recorded by EyeSoft and other video software / devices. The software requires no installation and with a small file size can be downloaded in under a minute. BiKal Announce Distribution deal with Maplin

November 26 2008: BiKal have signed a distribution deal with Maplin, one of the UK's biggest high street electrical retailers. The Candy Bar Cam, the easiest to install network ip camera on the market today will be available in over 140 high street department stores around the country as well as the Maplin website which consistently achieves status as one of the top 10 websites visited (according to HitWise, Jul-Sep 2008).

The Candy Bar Cam is one of the worlds first plug and play ip camera that requires no router configuration or ip address and port settings to enable remote access over the Internet, even if the user has a dynamic ip address.

November 02 2008: BiKal has release EyeSoft Lite. A basic version of our popular surveillance software for bulk purchase available to IP camera manufacturers and NVR / PC manufacturers allowing them to bundle EyeSoft with their products. EyeSoft v2.2.9 Released

November 01 2008: Version 2.2.9 of EyeSoft released saw more flexible video management tools and increased support for remote sites and external devices. The release also saw the addition of German language pack as well as some enhanced performance upgrades.

Version 2.2.9 adds an important playback feature with pause and step forward by frame + step back by keyframe in playback utility. Also, remote access performance via IE web browser has been significantly improved. Support for BiKal MegaPixel IP cameras has also been fixed. See latest release notes.

EyeSoft version 2.2. released

September 05 2008: Eyesoft NVR Software version 2.2 is now available for download. Existing users can update their software for free to the latest version. Main updated include support for full range of Intellinet IP Cameras, most Linksys IP Cams and some Aventura cameras. Other major changes include the addition of Finnish language pack.

A major update sees the introduction of the NETconnect service and SDK. The NETconnect service allows users to remote playback video directly from one NVR to another. The service also allows alarm events from motion detection to video analytics events to be received from the control center, this includes POS till transactions and video tags on remote machines/software. The NETconnect SDK allows programmers to inject data into EyeSoft for increased compatibility with third party software / hardware.

New website to launch latest product range

August 11 2008: BiKal's website has been updated to showcase BiKal's latest release of new IP surveillance products. The new website coincides with the latest release of EyeSoft, (BiKal's flagship surveillance software) with the inclusion of Acti & Samsung IP cameras as well as 32 & 64 camera split screen views. The biggest change to the product line up is a new professional NVR which is completely silent and is available with no moving parts for resilient long lasting silent operation. Also, a complete range of H.264 IP cameras have been released including box, wireless, dome, PTZ and night vision models with low light and external options.

IP surveillance software in french language released

August 01 2008: BiKal EyeSoft surveillance software released in French language as BiKal prepare EU distribution with further language releases in German, Spanish, Dutch due shortly.

BiKal trialled at McDonalds Restaurant

April 01 2008: The BiKal NVR and Loss Prevention system is being trialled at a McDonalds Restaurant in Ealing, West London. Our software based system has been used to interface with POS tills to help reconcile transactions and manage operations. Mr Atul Pathak who owns the restaurant commented "We have chosen to look at this system as a cost effective yet productive tool in reducing shrinkage". The trial systems were integrated with existing CCTV systems keeping costs to a minimum and provided to the restaurant as a bolt on option. Results so far have been very positive with further trials planned for additional restaurants.
